This article is a summary of my essay for the course ‘International Politics’. Writing essays has definitely been the highlight of the International Studies programme for me, as it allows me to a) develop independent research skills and b) go in-depth on topics I’m personally interested in.
In today’s knowledge society, when faced with solving real-life organizational problems, people engage in the magic process of co-creation through which they share their inventiveness. This value generation constantly happens in International Studies, in various ways.
What came first: the disciplinary niche or the multidisciplinary approach to social problematic? Have we only just started listening to each other, or have we always been connected? Is the M-word bureaucratic jargon or an ancient vernacular?
